Note(1): You can watch these videos in full screen mode because of their good quality. The videos shown here are generated by a TVT-C-EKD which is connected to a PC via RS232. The data of this demonstration is generated by a PERL script running on this PC. Data transfer is sometimes artificially delayed for a better presentation, and could be much faster (9600 Baud full speed). Note(2): These video clips were recorded using a RGB to PAL-FBAS converter based on Analog Devices AD724. The circuit diagram which shows how to easily extend the TVT-C-EKD for S-Video signal output you can see here Note(3): The quality of the S-Video Output, which was used here for recording the clips directly on a digital camcorder, is superb ! The videos cannot show this because of their strong compression. So watch the pictures below (captured from the uncompressed video) to get a real impression of the amazing video signal quality of TV-Terminal's TV controllers: Picture1 Picture2 Note(4): This demonstration being run on the new TVT-KVGA would look quite similar. Only the characters and the status lines look a bit different, the TVT-KVGA can handle 50 bars instead of 36 in realtime, and the color palette on TVT-KVGA is different. The switching between text and graphics mode as well as axis position changes are perfectly smooth on a TVT-KVGA compared to TVT-CBKD-11. The world time table update is faster on the TVT-KVGA due to new cursor commands. Axis colors and axis texts on the TVT-KVGA can now have different colors. |
